TAKE A CITY WALK

De Historische Kring (HKW) organizes city walks through the old center of Weesp every year in the summer months. In an hour and a half you get to know a large part of the history of Weesp. Every 2nd and 4th Saturday of the months: May, June, July and August.

MUIDERSLOT

Muiderslot is one of the oldest castles in The Netherlands. Built for defense purposes, it has been overlooking the waters of the IJmeer for over 700 years. After falling into decay, it became a national museum since 1878 after being renovated by the well-known architect Pierre Cuypers. Enjoy the castle gardens and visit the castle itself.
