There are three golf courses near Weesp. Old Course Loenen is a 9-hole golf course with NGF A status, located on the edge of the village of Loenen aan de Vecht (municipality of Stichtse Vecht). Golf club De Hoge Dijk between Amsterdam and Abcoude has 27 holes with probably the best greens in Amsterdam and the surrounding area. And Golfbaan Weesp, located in Weesp on the Amsterdam Rhine Canal with a challenging and versatile par 3 and 4 hole course.

MUIDERSLOT

Muiderslot is one of the oldest castles in The Netherlands. Built for defense purposes, it has been overlooking the waters of the IJmeer for over 700 years. After falling into decay, it became a national museum since 1878 after being renovated by the well-known architect Pierre Cuypers. Enjoy the castle gardens and visit the castle itself.
